US Benefits

Employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the month following the start of employment with Portrait Software. Apart from aiming to ensure our salaries are highly competitive, we also offer the following benefits to Employees in the USA:
  • Annual Leave – three weeks of paid vacation per year (with pro-rated accruals semi-monthly), in addition to 10 paid holidays. The annual rate of vacation increases to four weeks after completion of first year of employment with Portrait Software, and to five weeks after completion of third year of employment.
  • 401 (k) Retirement Plan – employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the month following the start of employment with Portrait Software.
  • Medical and Dental Insurance – employees in the US are entitled to enrol in the Company's Medical and/or Dental insurance plans. In these plans, the company pays the majority of the premium.
  • Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance – employees become eligible for coverage on the first day of the month following the start of employment with Portrait Software and they will be asked to complete a form naming their beneficiaries.
  • Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance – employees become eligible for coverage on the first day of the month following the start of employment with Portrait Software.
