Building Processes in Portrait

Portrait users build new customer experience management processes in a drag-and-drop environment called the Configuration Suite.

You can start with a Portrait Component, a previous process that you created, or a "process map" scribbled on a napkin.

You then build the map using the library of pre-built "nodes" – functional building blocks that execute a single step in a process (including things like "data lookup" and "if/then" logic).

It’s a simple, intuitive ‘drag & drop’ modeling environment that models not only the processes, but the integration and workflow that support it as well.

When the customer experience management process is built, you can run it in a test environment, then deploy it across as many channels as you like (web, branch, call center, e-mail, Interactive TV, ATM...).

  • Because there's no coding, technically-inclined business users can create processes

  • Because it's fast, you can change your customer experience management processes to respond to changes in demand, product mix, competitive activity and new regulations

  • Because it's easy, you can try out a new customer experience management process in a live environment and see if it outperforms the current process

  • Because it's automated, you know (and can show) that best practice is being followed everywhere the company touches a customer
The bottom line: better customer experience management processes, better customer interactions, improved efficiency & profitability
